Job summary

You will bridge pharmacy practice with Health IT, enhancing decision support and education for staff and students.

Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, maintaining infrastructure, and precepting PGY-1/2 residents; strong clinical informatics experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with Pharm.D or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics or pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist licensure in a Johns Hopkins approved state.
• Board Certification through BPS or equivalent within 2 years of start date.
• BLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Optimize clinical decision support for medication ordering, verification, and administration in the EHR.
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy staff and Health IT project teams to optimize medication workflows.
• Maintain and enhance medication infrastructure and educate staff on EHR navigation.
• Provide education to students, residents, pharmacists, and practitioners; precept PGY-1/2 programs.
