Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with IDFPR certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy agents, IV admixture and drug control.

Responsibilities

• CHECKING ALL MEDICATIONS LEAVING THE DEPARTMENT FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE.
• DISPENSES MEDICATIONS FROM PHYSICIAN ORDERS.
• VERIFIES DOSES ON PHYSICIAN ORDERS FOR PATIENT APPROPRIATENESS.
• USES HBOC and Omnicell systems for entering and dispensing medications.
• COMMUNICATES WITH HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS REGARDING ORDERS AND INTERACTIONS.
• MONITORS for adverse drug reactions and participates in pharmacokinetic dosing.
