MaineHealth is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in Westbrook. This role focuses on comprehensive medication management and patient-centered care within a supportive, training-oriented environment.

Onboarding includes a 6-week program; standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with no weekends. A hybrid remote option is available after probation, offering balance and growth in high-impact disease-state care pods.

Clinical Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy

We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient-centeredClinical Pharmacistto join our Specialty Pharmacy team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive medication management.

Specialty pharmacy experience is not required -y ou’ll receive focused training as part of a 6-week onboarding program designed to build your confidence and prepare you to thrive in this impactful role.

  • Growth-Oriented: Clinical pharmacists have the opportunity to train and work within specialized, disease-state focused care pods, gaining expertise in high-impact areas including:
    • Oncology and Hematology
    • Hepatitis B and C
    • Autoimmune Conditions in Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology
    • Asthma and Allergy
    • Pulmonary and cardiology/bleeding Disorders
    • Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
    • Neurologic Conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Epilepsy, and Migraine

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: The Clinical Pharmacist role reviews medication orders for safe and effective medication use; collaborates with physicians and other health care personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes; and formulates recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $58.85to $79.63 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
