Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary rounding team delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care. You will prepare and dispense medications, verify CPOE orders, monitor regimens, and ensure safe, evidence-based, cost-effective therapies.

This role supports sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations, follows USP 797/800 guidelines, and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. Requires a PharmD/B.S.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and active licensure in state of practice.
• Experience with hospital medication use processes is preferred.
• Residency in pharmacotherapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders.
• Verify CPOE orders for accuracy and safety.
• Interpret orders and document in patient records.
• Troubleshoot COE orders and ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations.
• Monitor for drug interactions and optimize therapy.
