Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a licensed Pharmacist for a combined retail and specialty pharmacy role in Worcester. Onsite position with rotating shifts, providing patient counseling, medication therapy management, and regulatory compliance.

The Pharmacist will manage both retail and specialty operations, supervise technicians, ensure accurate dispensing, and participate in process improvements while maintaining licensure and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy and an active pharmacist license.
• 1+ year of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy dispensing.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, MTM, and FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient counseling and clinical support to promote optimal outcomes.
• Oversee retail and specialty pharmacy operations and ensure dispensing accuracy.
• Lead technician teams and support staff; participate in process improvements.
