Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe medication use and positive patient outcomes in a rehabilitation setting. The role includes contributing to policy development and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

You will interpret, compound, and dispense medications in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards, while supporting continuous clinical services and staff development.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program or equivalent.
• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing required for the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to development of pharmacy policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medications per professional standards.
