Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well-being within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will play a key role in clinical service development and contribute to medication management decisions.

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing in the applicable state.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
