Job summary

Encompass Health, a leading inpatient rehabilitation provider, seeks a motivated Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and support clinical services within our rehab hospital. You will participate in policy development, contribute to interdisciplinary care, and exercise independent judgment in daily operations.

The role emphasizes accurate dispensing, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with care teams to optimize patient outcomes in a nationally recognized post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
