Job summary
MaineHealth Corporate is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Centralized Refill Pharmacy team in Maine. The pharmacist will support renewal authorization for MaineHealth Medical Group patients using established guidelines and embedded protocols, while optimizing therapy and coordinating with providers and medical staff.
Ideal candidates will be eligible as a registered pharmacist in Maine and New Hampshire, with strong communication and analytical skills to triage information and ensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
- Current State pharmacist license required.
- Previous pharmacist experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support prescription refill renewal authorization for MaineHealth Medical Group patients.
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacists and medical assistants to optimize medication therapy.
- Monitor and advise on drug therapy across all age groups; triage information for refill requests.
