Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a clinical pharmacist to support prescription refill renewal authorization for MaineHealth Medical Group patients. The role uses established guidelines to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based medication management and triage information to ensure timely refills for primary care clinics.

Ideal candidates will hold a Maine- and New Hampshire-eligible pharmacist license, with experience in patient monitoring and drug therapy review.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Current state license with Board of Pharmacy.
• Prior pharmacist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support prescription refill renewal authorization for MaineHealth Medical Group patients.
• Triage information to facilitate timely refill processing.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with providers, pharmacists and medical assistants.
• Monitor and review drug therapy across all age groups and provide patient care.
