Jefferson is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee the medication distribution system in its service area. The role focuses on ensuring each medication is indicated, effective, safe and convenient for patients, with emphasis on pharmacokinetic dosing and therapy optimization.
The position requires PharmD and licenses in PA and NJ, with responsibilities including staff training, precepting students, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives within TJUH.
The Clinical Pharmacist oversees the medication distribution system for their area of responsibility. In addition, the Clinical Pharmacist identifies, prevents, and resolves drug therapy problems by ensuring each medication is indicated, effective, safe, and convenient for the patient.
$53.49 to $76.22 Hourly. The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.
