Job summary

Venesco, LLC is hiring a Pharmacist to provide services at Naval Hospital Pensacola and outlying clinics. The Pharmacist will deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services and counsel patients.

Hours are up to 80 hours per two-week period, Monday through Friday, within 5:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, one year of professional experience, and an active pharmacist license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited college or university.
• One year of professional pharmacy experience after graduation.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.
• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within facility capabilities.
• Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.
• Review patient profiles at dispensing to monitor therapy.
• Ensure correct prescription directions, dosages, interactions and allergies.
