Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) required.
• Florida pharmacist licensure required.
• Certification: AHA BLS or ACLS with PALS.
• Licensed to practice in hospital/inpatient setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret medication orders and transcribe to patient profiles accurately.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including sterile and parenteral forms.
• Manage controlled substances and monitor regimens for interactions and appropriateness.
• Review culture and susceptibility data for antibiotic appropriateness.
• Document all clinical activities and protect confidentiality; educate patients and families.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel and contribute to training programs.
• Maintain formulary and promote rational drug therapy selection.
• Provide clinical clarification and cost-effective therapeutic alternatives.
