Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to lead clinical pharmacy services within our busy hospital campus. You will develop and coordinate clinical programs, optimize drug usage, collaborate with physicians, and participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics and other committees to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care in line with HCA Healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license and credentials.
• Bachelor's Degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy.
• No travel required.
• IV certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the clinical functions of pharmacy practice and drug usage.
• Assesses departmental clinical skills and designs programs to improve staff.
• Evaluates drug usage processes to identify quality and cost opportunities.
• Initiates and evaluates new clinical programs for the department.
• Participates in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and related committees and coordinates activities.
• Assists in integrating clinical services with distributive functions of the department.
• Performs distributive functions with staff pharmacists and technicians as needed.
