The role requires a PharmD/Pharmacy license with relevant certifications; board certification is preferred. Second shift and full-time hours are available, with responsibilities that may extend to system-level improvements within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of pharmacy required; PharmD degree preferred.
• Active RPH license; Alabama Controlled Substance certification; BLS; ACLS may be required.
• Board certification (BPS) preferred; PALS/NRP may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical pharmacy services and optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager to develop and maintain systems for safe, cost-effective drug therapies.
