Responsibilities include reviewing orders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining meticulous documentation. The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to HIPAA within a patient-centered environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy. California licensure in good standing is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation of clinical activities.

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify new patient orders using the pharmacy information system.
• Provide medication consultation to patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and assess drug therapy for safety and effectiveness; document outcomes.
• Prepare and dispense medication orders, labels, and packaging; maintain stock and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and pharmacy regulations; maintain records.
