Responsibilities

• Verify new medication orders and ensure safety and accuracy of dispensing.
• Coordinate patients' pharmaceutical needs with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and dietitians as applicable.
• Oversee technicians, and provide education to hospital staff and students as needed.
• Participate in Emergency Response efforts (Code Blues, Stroke Alerts) and committee work as required.
