Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to provide medication therapy management in collaboration with the health care team at Methodist Womens Hospital. The role supports inpatient and ambulatory settings, emphasizing safe, effective drug therapy and patient education.

The position requires a PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy and licensure, with strong clinical knowledge and ability to work rotating days/evenings and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy also acceptable with relevant licensure.
• Two years of health care pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication therapy management in collaboration with other providers to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective drug therapy.
• Maintain competency in drug therapy for diverse patient populations (neonates to geriatrics) and various care settings.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns; educate students and residents as needed.
