Qualifications

• Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to geriatric population

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas.
• Compound medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Monitor patient profiles for allergies, interactions and safety.
• Prepare IV admixtures under aseptic conditions.
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses, patients and staff.
• Ensure compliance with USP and quality control procedures.
• Maintain records of medications, costs and patient charges.
• Assist Pharmacy Director with special assignments.
