Job summary

Ballad Health's Bristol Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care across age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. You will provide medication therapy information to physicians and patients, participate in staff education, and support performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires ACPE-accredited education, with PharmD preferred, and board certification or equivalent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy; PharmD desirable but not required.
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy plus minimum of 2 years fulltime clinical experience in a similar setting, or 5+ years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in nutrition support and pharmacokinetic dosing; familiarity with related information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care per Scope of Care.
• Educate and train staff pharmacists, residents, and students.
• Provide medication therapy information to healthcare providers and patients/families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams; participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• As assigned, serve in supervisory capacity and mentor staff.
