Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a pharmacist to provide direct patient care and ensure safe drug therapy within Richland Hospital. The role includes medication order entry, distribution, and supervision of pharmacy staff in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ACPE-approved College of Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license or eligibility within 4 months of hire.
• Graduate with intern certificate pending licensure or reciprocity pathway acceptable.
• In lieu of license, may have pharmacist intern status and pending licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Entry of medication orders, dispensations and patient care tasks.
• Review prescriptions for safety and efficacy.
• Provide patient education and pharmacotherapy monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers and staff.
• Assist in on-call program and support workload management.
