Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Pharm.D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates physician orders based on a clinical assessment of the patient, including allergies, age, renal function, and labs.
• Ensures safe preparation and dispensing of medications, including sterile products.
• Manages drug therapy to optimize patient outcomes with education and documentation.
• Maintains professional knowledge, licensures and certifications through continuing education.
• Oversees pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Adapts communication to diverse patient populations and care teams.
