Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a PharmD and CA pharmacist license required, or FPGEC with Board certification.
• BCACP in ambulatory care or residency completion preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years as a practicing Pharmacist required; 3 years preferred.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with healthcare team to provide ambulatory pharmacy services.
• Dispense medications and manage patient drug therapy.

Job Overview

The Clinical Pharmacist (PACE) position will work directly with the healthcare team and patients to provide safe and effective pharmacy services in addition to the dispensing of medications. The pharmacist will provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services using approved guidelines in collaboration with other health professionals, including managing patient drug therapy and providing patient education.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license required, or be certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) issued by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Board certification (BCACP) in ambulatory care or completion of a Pharmacy practice residency is preferred. Minimum of 2 years as a practicing Pharmacist is required, 3 years is strongly preferred. Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, strongly preferred A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines..

Compensation

$123,607.91 - $154,509.89 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
