Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group seeks a licensed Pharmacist for an inpatient hospital role in California. You will verify, process, and verify medication orders, monitor therapies, provide drug information, and support patient safety in collaboration with medical staff.

The position emphasizes ensuring therapeutic efficacy, safety, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to formulary; participate in rounds, remote verification, and quality assurance; prior inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of pharmacy is required.
• PharmD degree is preferred.
• One year of technical experience is preferred.
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes, enters, verifies, and distributes medication orders in a timely manner in accordance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensures medication therapy is efficacious, safe, and cost effective.
• Ensures prescribing is appropriate with respect to indication, dose, route, frequency and allergies, and avoids interactions.
• Performs and analyzes daily medication utilization reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Participates in pharmacy-related tasks and programs, including clinical rounds and remote order verification.
• Supports meeting regulatory, accrediting, licensing, and government standards.
• Collaborates with leadership to procure medications and supplies and supports process improvement initiatives.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
