Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a full-time Staff Pharmacist to support in-clinic pharmacy services in Saginaw, MI. The role focuses on dispensing prescribed medications, patient counseling, and exceptional customer service within a compliant, team-based setting.

The position requires Michigan pharmacist licensure, immunizer certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months), and a willingness to administer injectables if authorized.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be licensed in Michigan.
• Immunizer certification or ability to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred: authorization to administer long-acting injectables within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Delivers a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant State Board of Pharmacy laws.
• Administers immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
