Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to lead dispensing activities and ensure accuracy and timely delivery of prescriptions. You will collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to uphold regulations and company policies for controlled substances and legend drugs.

You will also perform medication assessments, respond to drug-related questions, and support quality and cost containment initiatives while guiding technicians and staff in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current, active, and in good standing pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Articulate communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work well in a team, not independent work.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a stressful environment.
• Demonstrate self-initiative in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves prescriptions for filling by technicians per state Board regulations.
• Conducts Medication Assessment with patient medical information on all prescriptions.
• Performs final check of filled prescriptions for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ensures compliance with state/federal regulations and company policy on controlled substances and legend drugs.
• Implements quality and cost containment strategies in dispensing and procurement activities.
