Job summary

Northwest Hospital in Baltimore County near Randallstown, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a registered pharmacist to oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications and to enter medication orders into the computer system.

You will monitor patient medication therapy, provide medication information to patients, providers and nurses, identify and resolve medication-related problems through provider interventions, and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure timely medication availability.

Qualifications

• Experience: less than one year as pharmacist.
• Education: PharmB, MScPhm, or PharmD.
• Licensure: current Maryland Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.

Summary:
The registered pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order computer entry, monitoring of patient medication therapy and provision of medication information for patients, providers, nurses and other allied health professionals. The pharmacist identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems through interventions with providers. Pharmacists supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication availability.

Pay Range

$55.25 to $84.75 Based On Experience
