Synchrony Pharmacy Louisville in Kentucky is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our long-term care team. You will review orders, verify preparations, counsel staff and provide drug information while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requires ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy, NAPLEX/MPJE licensure, and five years of pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and assists in medication preparation by reviewing orders, weighing ingredients, and detecting incompatibilities.
• Dispenses medications according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, safety and proper disposal.
• Maintains records and inventory, supports technicians, and verifies orders and labeling.
• Provides drug information and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal drug laws and infection-control protocols.
