Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy.
- Experience as a pharmacist in an acute-care hospital setting or residency preferred.
- Current FL Pharmacist license or license eligible.
- Eligible to sit for NAPLEX.
- Strong communication, reading, and PC skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain clinical pharmacy programs to meet patient needs.
- Provide clinical pharmacy support across all patient areas.
- Review medication orders for appropriateness and adjust dosage as needed.
- Ensure safe dispensing of medications according to patient age.
- Monitor narcotic transactions and reconcile quantities.
- Assist with physician consults and retrieve reliable drug information.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
