Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD; licensure eligibility in TX.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience; English reading/writing essential.
• Licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy required upon hire; sterile compounding certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and regulatory standards, ensuring safety and quality.
• Enter orders accurately; review medication profiles for therapies and charges.
• Assess orders for appropriateness, interactions, and safety; document interventions.
• Lead technicians; supervise IV/central pharmacy operations and controlled substances.
• Educate patients and staff; communicate drug information professionally.
