Michigan Medicine's Department of Pharmacy Services seeks a Pharmacist Generalist to support Internal Medicine teams, review and verify orders, adjust dosages, and provide patient education. You will precept UM College of Pharmacy IPPE and APPE students and lead quality improvements.

The position requires rotating through centralized and decentralized roles with a mix of shifts, and may involve hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent.
Current licensure as a registered pharmacist by the State of Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
Michigan Controlled Substance License to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan, or eligibility within 60 days.
Ability to perform a variety of manual dexterity movements and participate in codes; proficient with computers (Word, Excel, Outlook).
ACLS certification is required.

Responsabilités

Cover 3–4 Internal Medicine teams and participate in daily rounds.
Review and verify medication orders and adjust dosages per policies.
Provide patient education on medications and discharge planning.
Precept UM College of Pharmacy IPPE and APPE students; participate in quality initiatives.
