Job summary

hyreharperco seeks experienced Pharmacists for the VA Health Care System, covering inpatient and outpatient pharmacy roles. You will help ensure medication safety, counsel patients, and collaborate with health teams to optimize care.

Requirements include an active pharmacist license in the U.S., ACPE-accredited degree, 3+ years of experience, and VISTA/CPRS proficiency. U.S. citizenship or green card is required. Schedule includes day/evening/night shifts with holidays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
• ACPE-accredited PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years in inpatient or outpatient pharmacy
• Experience with VISTA/CPRS and medication reconciliation
• Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding and controlled substances
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient use
• Conduct medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize plans
• Oversee preparation, compounding, and administration protocols
• Document activities in VISTA/CPRS EMR
• Provide drug information and staff training
• Ensure compliance with VA policies and laws
