Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Florida is required.
• Experience in hospital or acute care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Supervise supportive personnel in the department.
• Process physician orders and review patient medication profiles for appropriateness.
• Provide drug information to patients and staff; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Report to Pharmacy Supervisor.
