Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Previous clinical experience in an acute setting preferred.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills preferred.
• Good organizational skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications promptly and accurately; supervise supportive personnel.
• Process physician orders and review patient medication profiles for therapy appropriateness.
• Perform clinical pharmacy interventions as assigned.
• Serve as drug information resource to patients and staff.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Report to Pharmacy Supervisor.
