Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist II to provide pharmaceutical care across patient ages, reviewing orders, preparing, dispensing, and counseling. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and other pharmacists to ensure safe, effective care in a high-volume hospital setting.

This role includes mentorship of junior staff, precepting students, participating in educational activities, and involvement in performance improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• Bachelor of Science required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred.
• Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS) preferred.
• PGY1=3 years and PGY2=2 additional years.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to Baptist Health patients across ages through order review, preparation, dispensing, documentation and counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other pharmacists to ensure safe, effective patient-centered care.
• Mentor and develop clinical skills of junior staff; precept pharmacy students and technician students.
• Participate in education topics, staff development programs, and research projects.
