Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation seeks a Pharmacist I/II to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at the Echo Cliffs campus. The role includes direct patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations, with day/evening/night/shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

The position offers progression from Pharmacist I to advanced practice pharmacist, including clinic management responsibilities and supervision of pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized school
• Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the United States or DC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pharmacist I: no entry-level experience required; Pharmacist II: minimum 1 year as a registered pharmacist
• Demonstrated high ethical standards, reliability, and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in outpatient and inpatient pharmaceutical care
• Review patient records for safety and appropriateness of therapy; collaborate with medical staff
• Counsel patients and families on safe, effective use of medications
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and staff; ensure compliance with policies
• Participate in clinical programs, continuing education, and quality improvement activities
• Maintain regulatory records and participate in drug utilization reviews
