Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a pharmacist to interpret physician orders, monitor interactions, prepare and dispense medications, and lead the medication therapy process for inpatients.

The role includes ensuring safety, accuracy and regulatory compliance, and guiding hospital staff on drug information. The pharmacist will supervise technicians and participate in departmental activities, trainings and committees to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a current license and be able to work in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy, interactions and allergies.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and supervise the filling of prescriptions for inpatients.
• Profile, prepare and dispense new medication orders per procedures.
• Supervise technicians, interns and volunteers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Education

B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
