Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Kendallville, IN is seeking a pharmacist to deliver high-quality patient care, manage prescriptions, and support clinical services including immunizations. You will mentor technicians, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and help lead pharmacy operations with a patient-first mindset.

Candidate must have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, be licensed in Indiana, and bring retail pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies, procedures and laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as an agent of change.
• Prioritize workload with excellent organization skills.
• Listen to patients and address their needs with strong customer service.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
