Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support physicians and nurses by ensuring safe prescribing and dispensing of medications. You’ll review every prescription in the queue, check for interactions and dosing, and confirm orders before the final verification.

You will communicate drug information to patients and health professionals, contribute to patient outcomes, and stay current with clinical guidelines while supporting automated systems and policies.

Qualifikationen

• Pharmacist licensure in AR required.
• Pharmacist education Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Active AR Pharmacist license and CPR certification preferred or required.

Aufgaben

• Review prescriptions for safety, interactions and dosing.
• Enter/verify orders in the computer, label and dispense medications promptly.
• Verify medications prepared by other pharmacy staff.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals; resolve drug-related problems.
• Maintain knowledge to provide clinical services for all age groups.
• Maintain working knowledge of automated systems.
