Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to advance patient care within a collaborative health system in Missouri. You will partner with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize medication therapy, provide drug information, and mentor students while ensuring compliance.

This role supports education, quality improvement, and leadership in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities to influence outcomes and enhance patient safety across the organization.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in Missouri.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and medication orders for safe, appropriate drug therapy.
• Develop individualized medication plans and monitor outcomes.
• Identify and prevent adverse drug events and interactions.
• Provide dosing guidance and formulary recommendations.
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and patients on therapies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Precept students and residents and support staff training.
