Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care across the patient care continuum. You will review medication therapy, dispense medications, educate staff and patients, and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Formación

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree OR BS Pharmacy Degree.
• With BS Pharmacy, two years of pharmacy practice experience or equivalent; PharmD requires no experience.
• Licensed pharmacist or eligible to practice in North Carolina.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pharmaceutical care and ensure compliant medication therapy.
• Review and monitor medication therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Dispense medications per physicians' prescriptions and maintain records.
• Educate caregivers, patients, and students on medications.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize drug therapy and patient outcomes.
• Supervise preparation and dispensing processes and staff.
