Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Hospital Float Pool. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care teams to ensure safe, effective medication therapy and serve as a drug information resource.

This role supports education, quality improvement, and compliance while using Epic, Micromedex, and automation systems to optimize patient outcomes. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and Missouri licensure are required, with PGY1 preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist license in the applicable state.
• Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• PGY1 Residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients regarding medications and dosing.
• Participate in Medication Therapy Services and outcomes monitoring.
• Precept and mentor pharmacy students and residents.
