Job summary

Talent Software Services is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert drug information for the Pharmacy Services Department, supporting the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and drug formulary management in California.

The role requires CA Pharmacist license, PharmD, extensive clinical pharmacy and managed care experience, and leadership capabilities to supervise staff and develop cost-saving pharmaceutical programs.

Qualifications

Requires Current State of California Pharmacist License.
Requires PharmD degree and clinical pharmacy experience.
Requires extensive experience in Clinical Pharmacy and Managed Care Administration.
Requires experience in a combination of functional and supervisory capacity.
5-7 years experience required.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource for team members regarding the clinical use of drugs.
Manages activities of staff in development and maintenance of relationships with pharmacies and to increase provider participation in programs.
Promotes Pharmacy participation in programs to increase and enhance competitive position.
Manages relationships between the organization and pharmacists to resolve questions or problems in contract interpretation, program implementation, or claims administration.
Develops new and enhanced pharmaceutical programs to provide quality service and promote cost savings.
