Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from ACPE-accredited school.
• Two years hospital pharmacist experience; PGY2 DI residency may substitute.
• Preferred: advanced training (residency, fellowship, board certification).
• Licensed or eligible for Florida pharmacist licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides evidence-based drug information (DI) recommendations to healthcare professionals and supports formulary management.
• Assists with implementing and following medication use policies and formulary changes as part of a broader medication management program.
• Manages drug shortages promptly; identifies alternatives and develops restrictive-use protocols.
• Precepts or provides advanced DI education and training to interprofessional teams, pharmacy students, and residents.
• Uses excellent oral and written communication skills and performs miscellaneous duties as needed.
