UPMC Williamsport is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to work days with rotation to evenings, including every 3rd weekend and holiday shifts. The pharmacist provides safe, effective pharmacotherapy and supports medication-use systems in inpatient and outpatient care.

• Interpret and evaluate orders for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Identify/report suspected adverse drug reactions.
• Sustain formulary and promote rational therapy.
• Review patient medication records for allergies and interactions.
• Supervise technicians and support staff in daily operations.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and hospital quality policies.
• Communicate with physicians and nurses to clarify orders.
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for pharmaceutical care.
• Fill prescriptions per state/federal regulations.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures using aseptic technique.
