Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to perform clinical and professional pharmaceutical work focusing on review, processing, compounding, and dispensing prescribed medications to support patient care. Responsibilities include patient counseling and handling calls related to prescription processing.

Qualifications include a pharmacy degree, active pharmacist license, and experience in dispensing with knowledge of state/federal laws.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited program.
• Current Pharmacist license in the relevant state.
• Experience dispensing prescriptions and knowledge of controlled substance laws.
• 2 years of customer service experience with quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Process and dispense prescriptions, review patient records and care plans.
• Supervise technicians in the prescription process and ensure accuracy.
• Counsel patients on medications, interactions, dosage and storage.
• Ensure compliance with security, disposal, and quality assurance procedures.
• Coordinate care and participate in patient outcomes and discharge planning.
• Additional duties as needed.
