Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Pharmacy on a 3rd shift schedule (9pm–7:30am). The role offers 40 hours weekly at the Winston Campus, with a pay range of $54.90–$82.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, processing prescriptions, ensuring patient-centered pharmaceutical care, and contributing to quality improvements while maintaining compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.

  • Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization.
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes.

  • Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Set personal goals to support departmental objectives.
  • Provide age-appropriate care following guidelines.

How You'll Impact Patient care

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

What You Will Need
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
  • Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Nice To Have (Not Required)
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
