Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Pharmacy, Nevada licensure, and at least 2 years of oncology pharmacy experience, with strong knowledge of chemotherapy and patient education.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in Nevada.
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology pharmacy experience, preferably bone marrow transplant.
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy and related meds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and computer systems.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans for bone marrow therapy patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust dosages to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on medication use and side effects.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and ensure appropriate drug therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and recommend adjustments.
• Stay up-to-date on bone marrow therapy developments and apply in care.
