Job Overview

Seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to work rotating shifts between 0700-2300 daily. The role involves overseeing the provision of safe and effective medication therapies, collaborating with healthcare teams, reviewing physician orders, and serving as a drug information resource.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and monitor drug therapy plans, ensuring appropriate drug choice, dosage, and adherence to formulary.
  2. Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare providers.
  3. Communicate shift updates and unresolved issues effectively.
  4. Design and evaluate medication therapy regimens, documenting interventions appropriately.
  5. Participate in medical emergency management and precept pharmacy students and residents.
  6. Prepare and dispense medications following policies and regulations.
  7. Ensure accuracy and quality in pharmacy support tasks.
Physical and Educational Requirements

The role requires physical activity including walking, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and using PPE. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or PharmD degree, a valid pharmacist license, and preferably hospital experience. Strong communication skills are essential.
