Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from ACPE accredited program is required. Appropriate education to obtain and maintain Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Nevada.
Experience: Three years as a practicing pharmacist is preferred. Knowledge and experience in a medication therapy management program is recommended. Applicants who completed a pharmacy residency program or maintain a nationally recognized form of advanced credentialing or board certification with regular renewal requirements, such as Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) or Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), will be given preference.
License(s): Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license (status Active or Temporary) required at time of hire.
Certification(s): Ability to obtain and maintain Healthcare Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment is required for all locations.
Computer / Typing: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
